Karen joined the Swoope family in back January 2013 and currently holds the Office of Vice President. Karen has been certified as a Virginia Emergency Medical Technician since 2016 and is employed by Augusta County Emergency Communications Senior Dispatcher.

Karen rides out with the team helping those in need of emergency service and she always does this with a big smile on her face.

Karen is one of nineteen female fire service personnel at the firehouse and a future Senior leader of the Swoope Volunteer Fire Company and we are very lucky to have her on our team.
